Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand Experience

A half-day experience at Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is designed to allow day trip visitors the chance to learn about rescued animals living at the Wildlife Rescue Centre and Elephant Refuge. This is a rewarding opportunity to view some of Thailand’s most revered animals up close in a way that does not harm nor exploit them.

There are many ‘attractions’ where tourists unwittingly contribute to the suffering of animals such as posing with predatory animals for a photo. At WFFT we offer the chance for visitors to come close to rescued animals in a responsible and safe environment. The centre is passionate about changing the habits of international tourists who visit Thailand, who unknowingly fuel the illegal trade and the exploitation and abuse of Thailand’s wildlife.

Learn more about Thailand’s wildlife and the immediate challenges faced during a half-day experience at WFFT, located a short drive from the coastal town of Hua Hin in central Thailand. The experience can be included in an overnight stay from Bangkok. Hua Hin is a 2.5 hour drive south of Bangkok with a charming, small town centre, bordered on either side by the sea and jungle-clad mountains.
