Cruise Asia by Destination Asia Handle First Call in Lombok’s Bangsal Port
Cruise Asia by Destination Asia is proud to be the first ground handler to operate the new port of Bangsal in Northwest Lombok for P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Eden. Our team in Indonesia handled two port calls in May, and whilst facing a number of challenges for operating in this remote port, were able to professionally deliver both calls with the absolute pinnacle of personalized and professional service.
Still somewhat unknown to the outside world, Lombok’s natural landscape and traditions have remained untouched for centuries and provide allure for the inquisitive traveler. Tourism on the island is largely focused around Senggigi Bay, and most businesses are run by local families. Farming of rice, tobacco, coconuts, coffee, kapok and cotton are very important to the local economy and can be seen openly practiced in the stunning landscapes found here.
